I love this stove! I got it in black. My daughter says it's amazing. I like that it has the coil burners and burner pans that are very easy to clean and not a glass top which scratches easy and a pain to clean especially if you get food on it while its hot and it burns on the burner.

The only reason I have a problem with the stove is the manufacturer taps all the information to the stove top. It took glue be gone to get all the glue residue from the tape off the stove top and burners which was a pain to remove. I suggest everything be taped to the sides

The only thing I don't like is that the handle to the door below the stove is on the inside ìs on the inside of the door. It's very difficult to find and harder to reach. It just doesn't make sense for it to be there. It should be on the outside of the door within easy reach. Everything else is good, It heats up quickly and the things in the middle of the burners make it so the pans aren't sitting directly on the burner. Great for canning.

This is a 4 burner electric oven and stovetop. It works well except the door slams shut because it is metal in metal. The paint has already worn away. It has the bumpers installed but they are too far back and do not touch. I already had it replaced once because of this issue and that was a HUGE hassle. So when I got the second one and it did the same thing I am just living with it until it dies and I can get a new one. The capacity if big enough for a large turkey but that is it. The controls are well laid out but the beeper to tell you it is done is VERY quiet and cannot be adjusted in volume.

It's too soon to give an accurate assessment.
The burners appear to work well.
I thought the burner coils would heat up faster than the 20 year old Kenmore it replaced, but they heat up at about the same rate.
The oven doesn't heat up any faster than the old Kenmore, but it does appear to hold the temperature longer and it baked a cake all the way through, which was becoming an issue with the old Kenmore and the reason for replacing it.
The GE also appears to have a larger capacity oven and the warming drawer, which I use to store pots & pans anyway b/c there is little to no storagein this apartment, is larger as well, which is nice.
I wish that there were "surface cleaning" tips in the owners manual, so I don't ruin it on accident.
Also, it's been nearly impossible to completely remove the packaging tape.
The knobs for the range need a contrasting color or something b/c the all black arrows on the dials make it difficult to see if it's on or off.
Slightly wider than the Kenmore and it fits the space better.
I like the Self-clean option, although it would be nice if I could remove the door to get inside to clean better. I have a narrow galley-shaped kitchen & little room to reach in from the sides.
I wish that there were more instructions on using the oven controls; cook time, delay time, timer, etc. It'll be trial and error as this range is much different from the old one.
I like the dial & control panel placement on the back top.of the stove. Safer & easier to read which burner is in use.

We purchased a basic stove, old coil burners, specifically to use with cast iron cookware. I made brownies and it was nice for once in 5 years to have a working oven that baked the brownies evenly. So far we are quite pleased with the GE Range

Just had the new range installed a few hours ago, and so-far have only boiled one saucepan of water. Took a while to print out the manual to find out how to do anything (set clock). The range is black and is the first element for our upcoming French Country kitchen renovation. I'm so pleased with it. It's beautiful, and we're looking forward to cooking on a stove that isn't unreliable or temperamental .

I don™™t know why all of the new stoves are going to flat top or induction but my husband and I love the old school burners. It™™s a shame that there was only one model to choose from though.
We also had a dishwasher delivered after the stove and the installer told us that these side foam pieces should have been removed at install. Also, I™™m not pleased with how un level the stove is. I could have put something under one of the legs if the delivery guys would have helped cuz I mentioned it. They said my floor was just too un level but my other stove wasn™™t like that.

Burners are perfectly set up 1 small and larger burner on front and back side. With it's traditional controls you can fine tune the temperatures. The color matching of the area where the burners sit makes it look clean. The oven is also easier to clean due to the difference surface material being used.

Solid Range for its price. We went for traditional coiled cooktop. Love the way they color match the inside part where the coils sit so it is the same color all around. The design of having 1 small burner and large burner on each front and back side. It's oven surface material is also easy to clean in comparison with the usual metal surface.

Very nice, well made product that will stand up to the larger brands no problem.
We love the way it fits into our kitchen, and blends in nicely with our decor.
The controld are straight forward and a very readable digital display is right there, so you can keep an eye on things that you are doing.
The new "Sensi-Technology" burners will take a minute to get used to but over all a nice touch.
With the usual configuration of the burners, you can really adjust where you might want to put your cookware, for even cooking.
We love the large oven, 5.0cf is very large and enough to cook a 20lb turkey and all of the extras one might need for a feast!!!
Overall a credit to the GE company, not a large, over engenerred range one would need a degree to figure out. It also has a large bottom drawer, to keep pans and other items out of your cabinets, saving you room for other items.

Very nice appliance. Burners heat up quick and hold temperature well. For configuration of the controls I like them being on the back rather than on the front. The oven heats up quick and also holds the temperature, as set, very well. Plenty of room as well. I would buy again in an instant.

The stove I used prior to my new GE was really fancy with a glass cooktop and all kinds of bells and whistles. Things did not work well from the touch pads for selecting things to the fact that the glass eventually cracked. When I selected my new range, I wanted a simple machine that would meet my needs. This one does. Selections are made with touch pads that rely on an actual push. The stove top and burners are not subject to cracking. The burners are elements and temp is set by a knob type not a touch that doesn't respond. I am overjoyed with this range which is attractive and works the same everyday for me. It is simple and a real joy!
